Claire took her first barre class five years ago and fell in love with its uniquely challenging blend of ballet, yoga, and pilates. It marked the first time she found herself actually enjoying a fitness class.
Claire has an extensive background in dance and has a Masters of Science in Public Health in Human Nutrition from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. She grew up in Annapolis and recently moved back to town. When she’s not at work or teaching and taking barre classes, Claire loves to cook, travel, and run with her dog through the streets of Annapolis.
In addition to teaching BLYS Classic Barre and Sculpt classes at Blue Lotus Yoga Studio, Claire leads the BLYS Run Club --- an 8-week program from April to June that includes 1 to 2 weekly runs through Quiet Waters park as well as Barre and Yoga classes tailored to the group's needs.
