Alexandra (Alex) Wieland has practiced yoga for 15 years and is a 200-hour YTT certified Hatha yoga instructor through the Pranakriya School of Yoga Healing Arts. At first Alex saw yoga as a compliment to her main focuses of field hockey and lacrosse. Post college, aches, pains and mental stress showed up as Alex’s professional life took her from marketing and event management to school administration and coaching lacrosse to management consulting. Yoga offered a consistent source of perspective, strength, and relaxation.


Alex appreciates the opportunity to share the restorative power of this ancient practice because she’s seen first hand how witnessing the self, exploring what the body and mind can do, and accepting where you are, helps us return to wholeness. By bringing heart, hustle, and humility to yoga, Alex encourages her students to breathe and be… on and off the mat.
