Lisa first came to yoga as a means of exercise, but once she felt the joy of mindful movement,

yoga became an integral part of her life. She found yoga as a pathway to managing stress and

cultivating awareness of each moment. As a former dancer, Lisa fell in love with the freedom

and fluidity of vinyasa flow as well as the endorphin rush of Buti Yoga. Most importantly, she

values the opportunity to create community through movement.

After teaching high school English for thirteen years, Lisa received her 200 hour certification

from Charm City Yoga in 2015. She is also co-founder of Pop Up Yoga Baltimore, a community

yoga group offering donation-based yoga throughout Baltimore. She also holds certifications in

Buti Yoga, Barre, and SUP yoga.

Lisa promotes a light-hearted space, and utilizes thematic mantras, asanas, pranayama, and

meditation as a unifying tool for her students. Lisa gratefully welcomes all levels.
