Lisa first came to yoga as a means of exercise, but once she experienced the mind-body connection of yoga, it became an integral part of her life. The numerous benefits of yoga revealed themselves with each class she took, and she found yoga as a pathway to managing stress and creating awareness of each moment. In 2015, Lisa received her 200 hour certification from Charm City Yoga and left her job as an English teacher to pursue yoga full-time.
Lisa promotes a fun, light-hearted space, encouraging students to do only what serves them on the mat. She views movement as medicine and hopes each of her students can find what they need in her class.
She is also co-founder of Pop Up Yoga Baltimore, a community yoga group offering donation-based yoga throughout Baltimore.
