Megan began her yoga journey six years ago as a supplement to her normal exercise routine. It wasn’t until she took a class at Blue Lotus Yoga Studio with a teacher who introduced her to the yogic philosophy of the yamas and niyamas that she truly fell in love with the practice and its meanings. Today Megan relies primarily on yoga as her main form of physical and mental exercise. The practice also helps Megan manage her anxiety and depression, and, as a result, she recommends yoga to anyone who can benefit from mindful movement and breath work. Yoga is a feeling of belonging to Megan; it is a time of stillness when she needs calm and a place of energy when she needs to be uplifted.


In 2020, Megan completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training with Blue Lotus Yoga Studio. Through the training, Megan learned more about herself, and what she wanted to share with others through the practice of yoga. She hopes to instill confidence and mindfulness into her students both on and off their mats through breath work, meditation, creative flows, and self-love. She is grateful to all her teachers who have gotten her to this point in her journey, and hopes to carry on their teachings.

Outside of the studio, Megan is a wife and dog mama to two fur babies. She is a New Jersey native who has planted roots in Annapolis, and although she misses the Jersey Shore, she is grateful to live in a town that is surrounded by the water. Megan enjoys spending time with her family and friends, DIY projects, going to broadway shows, and all things Disney.
