Rachel took her first barre class in 2018 and was immediately hooked on the barre technique! The musically-driven and low-impact classes create a workout that was fun to keep coming back to, and continues to challenge people even after taking hundreds of classes. After becoming an instructor and taking over 250 classes herself, Rachel now looks forward to sharing her love of barre with others. “My favorite part of barre is the unique way that your own body weight is used, so people of any age, size, and ability level can participate. Although the movements are small and isometric, the impact is huge”. Rachel strives to create classes that empower individuals and bring excitement to move their bodies in a fun and challenging way.
When she’s outside of the studio, Rachel works as a nanny in Annapolis. She and her husband are native to Annapolis and live with their two dogs and two cats. In the warmer seasons, they love to garden and take advantage of the local waterways by kayaking. Rachel also spends her free time knitting, baking, and teaching children’s piano lessons.
