


Kelsey
Yoga Instructor
After her first class at Blue Lotus Yoga Studio, Kelsey knew she found her yoga home. She was incredibly excited to discover BLYS when she first moved to the area a little over a year ago because she knew it was a place that would help deepen her practice and hold space as she moved along her journey.
Today, Kelsey is a recent graduate of the BLYS 200-hour YTT program. She considers herself a better practitioner and person in the world for it. She also feels ready and excited to use the foundational knowledge she gained through training to safely guide others through their practice.
Something that has remained a constant for Kelsey across the different yoga disciplines she has explored is a focus on correct alignment in every pose. In her own practice, Kelsey tries to remind herself that alignment comes before depth.
In her classes, Kelsey hopes to guide practitioners into the fullest expression of their pose with proper alignment and breath cues. She believes that through correct postures, controlled breathing, and building strength through disciplined body movements and repetition, we can begin to fully understand how innately powerful we are.
Kelsey's wish is that folks will leave her class feeling energized, having explored their body, breath, and spirit in a fun and accessible way.
