Toni started practicing yoga over a decade ago thanks to free community classes in Massachusetts. After relocating to Annapolis for grad school, Toni rediscovered her love of OHY yoga and started her journey towards becoming an instructor. She thanks her yoga practice for helping her overcome workaholism and improving her mental health. Through her home practice, Toni discovered her love for yin yoga and the benefits of slowing down. These personal successes encouraged Toni to become a yoga instructor and share the wealth!
Toni has completed two 200 YTTs and is working towards her 500 YTT, so far with specialized trainings in yin, restorative, pranayama, and meditation. As a yoga teacher, Toni hopes to encourage her students to be more comfortable meeting their own bodies where they are on that day, connecting and reconnecting to their breath, honoring each practice one day at a time, and with time, bringing their yoga practice off the mat beyond the asanas and out into the world.
Outside of yoga, Toni loves live music, plants, cooking, snacks, breathwork, and tutoring philosophy.
