As a dedicated yoga instructor, my mission is to guide students on their journey to self-discovery and holistic well-being.
With years of experience in teaching dance and contact improvisation, I've honed my skills in understanding movement, body awareness, and the unique expression of each individual's physicality. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Dance, and I completed my yoga teacher training with Blue Lotus Yoga in Annapolis.
In my Vinyasa yoga classes, I draw upon my dance background to create dynamic, fluid sequences that encourage students to explore their bodies and their breath. My teaching philosophy revolves around finding what feels good in one's practice, fostering body positivity, and building strength to stay safe on and off the mat.
Rather than emphasizing the aesthetic aspects of poses, I encourage students to uncover the personal benefits of each posture. Through this approach, I aim to empower individuals to embrace their unique yoga journey, celebrating progress over perfection.
My classes are a welcoming space for practitioners of all levels. I'm dedicated to creating a supportive environment where students can nurture their physical and mental well-being.
